AkesioClip AI (hereinafter referred to as "the App") respects user privacy and is committed to protecting personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and how it is protected.

Subscription Authentication

• Email address (registered when subscribing)
• Google account information (for subscription management only)
• Device ID (hash value generated from hardware information)
• License authentication timestamp

The free trial is limited to one per device. To enforce this limit, we use a device identifier (a hash generated from hardware information) and store it on our servers (Firebase) to determine trial eligibility.

Important: We do not collect video file contents. All video processing is performed locally on your device. Video file names are hashed, and we do not collect any personally identifiable information.

User Feedback and Learning Data

When you provide feedback (such as marking clips as interesting or not), this data is used to optimize your personal model and improve highlight detection for you. This feedback may be stored locally on your device and/or anonymized and used to improve the App for all users.

We do not use your feedback for any purpose other than model optimization and product improvement.

Third-Party Services

Agreement

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of AkesioClip AI (the "App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

Service Description

The App is an AI-powered desktop application that automatically detects and extracts highlight moments from streaming videos.

Eligibility

• You must be 13 years or older
• You must agree to these Terms
• You must have a valid Google account for subscription management

Account and Authentication

Google Account Login Required: You must sign in with a Google account to use the App. This is required solely for subscription management purposes.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. If you discover any unauthorized use, please contact us immediately.

Your Responsibility for Content

You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights (including copyright and other intellectual property rights) to the original video content you process with the App. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of the App complies with applicable laws and third-party terms.

Subscription

Free Trial

All users receive a 1-month free trial with full access to all features. No credit card required to start the trial. The free trial is limited to one per device; you may not obtain or use more than one trial on the same device (including by reinstalling the App or resetting the device identifier).

Monthly Subscription

After the free trial period ends, the subscription automatically converts to a $5/month paid subscription. The subscription will automatically renew each month unless cancelled.

We will provide a notification email 3 days before your free trial expires. In the event of a payment failure, a grace period of 3 to 7 days will be provided before your premium features are restricted.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation must be completed at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid being charged for the next billing cycle. After cancellation, you will continue to have access until the end of your current billing period.

Price Changes

Prices may change without notice. However, your current subscription period will be honored at the price you agreed to.

Prohibited Activities

The following activities are prohibited:

• Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the App
• Bypassing or tampering with the authentication system
• Circumventing the one-trial-per-device limit (e.g., by spoofing or resetting device identifiers)
• Sharing one license with multiple users
• Creating illegal content using the App
• Processing content that infringes on others' copyrights, privacy, or other rights
• Redistributing or reselling the App

Intellectual Property

• All copyrights, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights in the App belong to the developer
• You are granted a non-exclusive license to use the App in accordance with these Terms
• You retain all rights to content you create using the App
• Commercial use: With an active $5/month subscription, you may use the clips generated by the App for commercial purposes, including monetization on YouTube and other platforms

Disclaimer

The App is provided "as is." We do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted service availability
• That all bugs or errors will be fixed
• Specific results

We do not guarantee the accuracy of highlight detection. Due to the nature of AI, missed detections and false positives may occur.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

Service Changes and Termination

• App features may change without notice
• If we terminate the service, we will provide 30 days' notice

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan.

Changes to Terms

These Terms may be updated at any time. Significant changes will be notified via email or within the app. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Free Trial

Refund Eligibility

Full refund within 14 days after the trial period ends if you are not satisfied with the service.

You may request a refund in the following cases:

• Technical issues that prevent the App from functioning and cannot be resolved
• Accidental duplicate subscription
• Dissatisfaction with the App within 14 days after the trial ends

Non-Refundable Cases

Refunds are not available in the following cases:

• More than 14 days have passed since the trial period ended
• You have already used the App during the paid subscription period (after 14 days)
• Your account was suspended due to violation of the Terms of Service
• Simply changed your mind (after 14 days)

How to Request a Refund

   • Reason for refund request

Refund Processing

• Refund requests will be reviewed within 5 business days
• If approved, refunds will be issued to the original payment method

Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. After cancellation, you will continue to have access until the end of your current billing period. No prorated refunds are provided for partial months.
